In the Old World printing from CSE-managed lab computers was supported via lpr and [CUPS].

In recent years management of the printers installed in and near CSE labs has been taken over by Central IT and CSG has observed that next to no printing is done by students from lab computers any more. For this reason support for printing was not included in New World.
