New World email

There is next to no user email capability in New World. That is to say that New World doesn't have any accommodation in terms of configurations of packages to support users' sending or reading of emails. Users wanting to do either need to use an external web email provider such as UNSW's recommended provider, or else need to make other arrangements (such as do their own configuration for opportunely-installed email clients).

That said, CSG runs an email server, maillard, which manages:

1. Receiving and forwarding of emails sent to addresses in the cse.unsw.edu.au domain, and
2. Flexible mailing lists in the same domain.
